In "The Mystery Method," he talks about approaching potential dates and immediately disqualifying yourself. Saying you can't (really) stay long to talk to them.
Interesting point. Letting them know you don't have an agenda.
If you (truly) don't, I say do it. great way to disarm preoccupation.
